Assessment
A Verification of Competency (VOC) is a process to confirm that an individual has the skills and knowledge to safely and effectively perform specific tasks or operate equipment, often in high-risk industries. It’s a validation of the existing competencies an individual holds.
Assessment Covers:
- AURKTJ011 – Remove, inspect, and fit earthmoving & OTR tyres (1x strip and fit Earthmover/OTR tyre assembly)
- AURKTJ012 – Remove, inspect, and fit earthmoving & OTR wheel and rim assemblies (1x unbolt and bolt-on Earthmover/OTR tyre assembly)
- AURKTJ016 – Use earthmoving & OTR tyre handlers (1x tyre handler operation)
Key Details:
- Conducted onsite for real-world assessment.
- Ensures safe and efficient use of tools, equipment, and procedures.
- Meets industry standards and unit of competency requirements.
Resources Required
For the course, you are required to provide earthmover/OTR equipment over a rim diameter of 24″ or 600mm and Earthmover/OTR tyr handling equipment
Additionally, you must have access to a computer, laptop, or tablet to use the Learning Management System (LMS) for completing knowledge assessments via correspondence and submitting on-the-job evidence.
